Mental Notes Consulting has combined with their partners to bring you a series of High Performance workshops across South East Queensland in 2016. The series will cover topics designed to help you to reach your performance potential in sport, coaching, performing arts, school, work and exercise. Guest presenters include strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, coaches, ex-athletes and staff with elite sport backgrounds and experience.

Each workshop will consist of two 45 minute sessions during which a guest speaker and Mental Notes Consulting’s Australian Sport Psychologist will present on high performance strategies.

James Holbeck is a former Australian Rugby representative with the Wallabies. His story is a realistic examination of learning resilience and character through the struggles of life. This workshop will use a life-span approach to examine life’s lessons and allow Rachel to help us all dig deeper into healthy mindsets, find strategies to manage fear of failure and cope with unfulfilled dreams.

James has consulted to teams in Australia, Japan and the United States, including the ACT Brumbies and West Point Military Academy. He has coached first grade rugby teams in Sydney and Brisbane and has worked at the Queensland Rugby Union providing its professional players with the skills to survive the challenges of high performance environments and preparing for post-rugby life. James mentors new professional players as the ‘Wallaby in Residence’ at the annual rookie camp. He has worked as a radio and television commentator, professional sportsman, a labourer, university lecturer, a telephone counsellor, and currently as a writer and public speaker.

This workshop is appropriate for athletes of all levels (age 10 & above), coaches, parents, performers, business people or anyone who wants to reach their performance potential in any area of performance, whether it be sport, exercise, business, performing arts, study or everyday life.

Every person who registers will receive a FREE Mental Notes Training Diary at the first workshop they attend!
